According to forecast, this year, export turnover of pangasius may reach 1.2-1.3 billion USD. In July, the country may export 15.000 tonnes and at the end of the year, this number is 70.000 tonnes. Department of Agriculture and Rural Development advises export enterprises have to obey current regulations and improve inspections of product quality to keep market stably. Besides that, the ministry asks Department of managing agriculture, forestry and seafood products to improve inspection, supervise export pangasius product and emphasize the responsibility of the enterprises.
